ACYCLOVIR SIDE EFFECTS:

The medication has such side effects as: headache, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. If you experience persisting or worsening any of the side effects tell your doctor immediately. Many patients do not experience any side effects of the drug. People experience any allergic reaction of the drug very rarely, but consult your doctor immediately if you have it. Serious allergic reaction has such symptoms: rash, itching, severe dizziness, swelling, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

ACYCLOVIR PRECAUTIONS:

If you experience any allergic reactions inform your doctor. Your doctor should be aware of your medical conditions especially if you have such problems as: HIV infection, kidney problems, cancer, problems with the immune system. It's unlikely for the drug but it can make you giddy or drowsy. Use Try to avoid activities demanding high attention such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol. ACYCLOVIR INTERACTIONS:

Your doctor or pharmacist may already be acquainted with any possible acyclovir interactions. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of any medicine consulting the doctor. Before using acyclovir, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of: probenecid. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Only your doctor or health care professional can change or double your dose.
