BUY BIAXIN

Biaxin is applied for treating a wide variety of bacterial respiratory tract infections. Biaxin belongs to the class of macrolide antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Do not forget that this medication is for bacterial infections only. Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

HOW TO USE BIAXIN:

It is an oral medication. Take biaxin one time a day (with food) or as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing them. To keep the constant level of the remedy in your organism, take the remedy at the same time regularly. The dosage and duration of therapy depend on your medical condition and response to therapy. You should take the full cure. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection. Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

BIAXIN SIDE EFFECTS:

You may experience diarrhea, stomach upset, changes in taste, nausea, vomiting, and headache. Inform your doctor in the case of worsening or persisting your conditions. A tablet may rarely appear in your stool. This is more likely to occur if you have certain intestinal disorders (e.g., colostomy, ileostomy, diarrhea). Contact your doctor or pharmacist for further instructions. Many people using this medication do not have serious biaxin side effects. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: hearing loss, persistent nausea/vomiting, severe stomach/abdominal pain, dark urine, mental/mood changes. If you experience such unusual but serious side effects as fainting, fast/irregular heartbeats, new signs of infection (e.g., fever, persistent sore throat), yellowing of eyes or skin, change in the amount of urine inform your doctor immediately. This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (pseudomembranous colitis) due to resistant bacteria. This condition may occur while receiving therapy or even weeks after treatment has stopped. Do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have the following symptoms because these products may make them worse. If you notice such symptoms as persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain/cramping, blood/mucus in your stool inform your doctor immediately. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in oral thrush or a new vaginal yeast infection (oral or vaginal fungal infection). Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: swelling, dizziness, rash, itching, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Don't forget that your doctor has prescribed this medication because the benefit to you is greater than the risk of biaxin side effects.

BIAXIN PRECAUTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you have any allergic reaction. Your doctor or pharmacist must know your medical conditions, especially if you have such problems as liver or kidney disease, mineral imbalance (e.g., low potassium or magnesium levels), certain heart problems (e.g., QTc prolongation, bradycardia), family history of certain heart rhythm disorders (QTc prolongation). This remedy is not recommended during pregnancy. Discuss the all pro and contra with your doctor. Based on information for similar drugs, biaxin may pass into breast milk. Therefore, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

BIAXIN INTERACTIONS:

Your doctor or pharmacist may already be acquainted with any possible biaxin interactions. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first. In combinations with such drugs as eletriptan, quinupristin-dalfopristin, eplerenone, ergot alkaloids (e.g., ergotamine, dihydroergotamine), drugs which may affect the heart rhythm (cisapride, pimozide) this medication may result in very serious interaction. Inform your doctor if you are taking mentioned above medications. Other drugs besides biaxin and those listed above which may affect the heart rhythm (QTc prolongation) include amiodarone, dofetilide, gatifloxacin, propafenone, quinidine, sotalol, moxifloxacin, thioridazine among others. QTc prolongation can infrequently result in serious, rarely fatal, irregular heartbeats. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details, and for instructions on how you may minimize the risk of this effect. Your doctor should know about all the medications you are taking, especially of: certain anti-seizure medications (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin, valproate), "blood thinners" (e.g., warfarin), drugs affecting liver enzymes that remove biaxin from your body (such as rifamycins - including rifabutin and rifampin, and azole antifungals - including itraconazole and fluconazole), certain HIV medications (e.g., zidovudine, delavirdine, protease inhibitors such as atazanavir, ritonavir), colchicine, digoxin, live bacterial vaccines. This drug can slow down the removal of other drugs from your body by affecting certain liver enzymes. Some examples of these affected drugs include alfentanil, certain benzodiazepines (e.g., midazolam, alprazolam, triazolam), bromocriptine, cilostazol, corticosteroids (e.g., methylprednisolone), cyclosporine, disopyramide, repaglinide, sildenafil, tacrolimus, tolterodine, certain statins (atorvastatin, lovastatin, simvastatin), theophylline. This medication may decrease the effectiveness of combination-type birth control pills. This can result in pregnancy. You may need to use an additional form of reliable birth control while using this medication. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for details.

NOTES:

Do not share biaxin with others. Don't forget that the medication is for your certain problems only. A different medication may be necessary in those cases. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., blood counts, cultures, liver or kidney function tests) may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.
